Fourth Series – The Islamic Tarbiya and Meqyas Ala’mal (Work Scale)

Tarbiya : Is the art of transferring ideas, standards and convictions into the minds of receivers, and here we mean “to be concerned with” the art of transferring Islamic ideas, and Islamic standards and convictions

Meqyas Ala’mal: Is the scale by which we measure our actions, our words and our views and opinions, and it is that which must be taught and adopted by the Islamic ummah (nation) and the generations to come.

Many people and parents rely on schools for the Islamic development of their children, throwing the burden of responsibility of their children’s development on the schools and teachers in assumption that the schools and teachers teach as the government claims a development process that conforms to Islamic guidelines and standards. Not knowing that the government in its own right has adopted educational curriculum's with the very intention of individuals and students’ non-Islamic upbringing. Because it is amongst the most severe of warnings that the current puppet governments have received of upbringing Islamic personalities that will become daggers thrust to their rulers’ flanks, and the flanks of all Colonial States, all based on the right understanding of the two Shahadas and the correct method of Ibadah (worship).

The Islamic development process that ensures the upbringing of Islamic personalities and has an effect on the behavior of Muslims leaving them disciplined to the laws and orders of the Islamic Sharia is mainly built on the following:

1. Proving the Existence of Allah swt, and the correct definition of the Creator.

2. Proving that the Quran has come from Allah and not from Messenger Muhammed pbuh

3. Proving the Prophecy of our master Muhammed pbuh

4. The concepts relating to the aqidah (the Islamic belief system) such as the concept of al-qadhâ'(Allah’s decree), al-qadar (The attributes given by Allah swt to everything created, like the burning attribute created by Allah swt in fire, and the combustibility attribute created by Allah swt in wood, and the cutting attribute in blades, and other specific attributes relating to human instincts and inclinations that have been given to people), and the concept of hidaya (the guiding of someone to the true path), the concept of rizq (earning or wealth), and the concept of end of al ajal (life-term)

5. The correct definition of the two Shahadas as we have previously covered

6. The correct definition of Shirk as we have previously covered

As for the concept of meqyas al’amal (work scale), which is directly linked to the Islamic development process, this is something that cannot or is rather impossible for a school in our current reality to teach our children or build their personalities on its basis. The reason being, one: the schools/teacher own lack of understanding of the concept; two: for the reason of the curriculum desire not to build this scale concept in the minds of children. For as per the work scale concept,a person’s mind would be built in a way where his eman (belief) would be that any work he attempts to take on has to be directly based on what Allah and his Messenger pbuh have commanded and prohibited, meaning that when a person attempts to do anything, they would first measure it on the basis of whether it gains Allah’s ridha (acceptance) or his ghadab (wrath or anger), i.e. based on whether its halal (lawful/permitted) or haram (forbidden). And as is the case, the Shariarulings and orders include alwajib (the obligatory or mandatory), almahd’oor (the banned), makruh (the detested though not haram), almandub (the commendable or recommended), and the mubah (the permissible), and therefore the development process should be based on this scale, so that the actions of a Muslim would be built and programmed on these five rulings and orders, and on no other scale such as interests (e.g. physical pleasures, prestige, throne, money), whereby these interests would precede the Sharia rulings and laws.

Fact of the matter is that neither Schools nor teachers engage in this development process of building this Islamic work-scale in the minds of the children, as that will contradict many of the thoughts and concepts that nations want to build in the minds of children, people and societies and which are very differing from those that would come through the Islamic development and upbringing; examples are those of patriotism, nationalism and loyalty to the ruler (king, president) without Allah, and the submission and slavery to the capitalist economic system, and loyalty to the non-Islamic social ideas such as exposing of the awrah (body parts that must be covered), and the ikhtilat (mixing) of men and women in private places, and the forbidden relations between a man and a woman, and all the abnormal relations, and the unjust and un-rightful treatment of women, wives, daughters and sons; and the loyalty to many ideas and concepts violating the Islamic aqidah (doctrine) and that what has been sent upon our master Muhammed pbuh from rulings and orders.

The intentions behind this Islamic-violating upbringing is to form strange personalities in the Ummah(Islamic nation) distant and far as possible from the Right Islamic Personalities whom the ummah’s reliance is on, to live in Islam, carry it, spread it and build its culture.

Allah swt said in the meaning of surrat Al Hashr verse 7

<<…So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you...>>(“what” and “which” implying inclusivity, i.e. all that)

And our beloved messenger of Allah, pbuh, said:

"None of you [truely] believes until his inclination is accordance with what I have brought”

Third Series –Al – Shirk (Polytheism

Knowledge Series: Emphasizes the spread of knowledge, culture, and know-how through the conveying of thoughts, discussions and research with the aim of realizing an all encompassing Islamic Renaissance

Third Series –Al – Shirk (Polytheism)

Polytheism (Shirk) is the greatest misfortune that can befall a human being from his self doings, and it is what defines a person’s identity, his life and future identity and that of his offspring; it also defines the social identity and that of the State ruling, and dictates the destiny of all of them as has been the case for many people/nations historically. The concept of Shirk has been exposed nowadays to various types of distortions and falsification through corrupt scholars and teachers in schools, until they caused everyone to fall and end up in Shirk, and left most of them polytheists without even knowing. They have emphasized the image of Shirk to portray merely the worshiping of statues (which have not existed in the lands of Muslims ever since the coming of Messenger Muhammed pbuh) or that of touching the Messenger or his companions’ (sahaba) graves, or seeking intercession from the Messenger or the companions (sahaba) or others during prayer.

Much focus had been directed towards that understanding, (for the interest/need being served), upon which the real concept of Shirk had become neglected, but what has been more important than all this, is that the purpose, behind that distortion to the meaning of Shirk, is much greater than that, as we had mentioned previously. Nothing has compared to Shirk in the number of times it had been covered, explained, and warned from within the Quran, all to prevent people from falling into it and loosing their dunya (this life) and akhirah (afterlife).

The reason behind the distortion of its meaning has been to make people’s following of commands from rulers and sultans other than Allah a natural and normal practice that does not take them out of their millah (religion) and does not touch their aqidah (the Islamic belief system), all that to make way for accepting to follow commands and prohibitions from other than Allah and working for and being of service to them. Hence, the creation of hypnotized societies that follow the commands and prohibitions of the kafir ruler without Allah and without seeing any wrong with that; furthermore complying with their rulings and with all of their economic, social, political and security systems, and directing their efforts toward applying and servicing these not seeing anything wrong with that. By that have individuals and societies engaged in Shirk in a damning, humiliating and offensive manner, and so we ended up with polytheist societies and polytheist individuals, most of whom don’t even know it and think that their prayers in mosques or at home will suffice for achieving goodness in their deen (religion), and their work and their acceptance in front of Allah swt.

Shirk, unlike Kufr, is something a Muslim can easily fall in to, and that by simply violating the terms of the two Shahadas and what these call for, which is the absolute following of Allah’s commands and prohibitions, those that have appeared both in the Holy Quran and in the Sunnah (teachings and activities of Messenger Muhammed pbuh). So we find a simple soldier working in one of the security units following orders of spying on Muslims, or capturing Muslims who do not possess Iqamas(residence permits), or invading homes of the safe guarded, and thereby violating the commands of Allah swt and following the commands of other than Allah swt, in this case the rulers; hence has included with Allah another commander, and that is the Shirk in its preciseness.

Similarly you find ministers, and scholars of rulers, and managers and heads of different government units in the passport department, or department of visa controls, department of civil status, or even teachers at schools or faculty at universities, or workers at the chambers of commerce and industry or at the customs authority or others, violating the commands of Allah swt, and following those of other than Allah from rulers, thereby including with Allah another commander, which again is the Shirk in its preciseness; they engage in this without seeing anything wrong in it and without hesitation; and then they turn towards mosques to pray with the rest of the Muslims praying or even leading the jama’ah(group of Muslims) during prayer.

Allah swt said in the meaning of surrat Al Tawbah verse 3

And an announcement from God and His Messenger (Apostle), to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage,- that Allah and His Messenger (Apostle) dissolve (treaty) obligations with the disbelievers (Mushrikeen). If then, ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away, know ye that ye cannot unable (or prevent) Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith (Al-kafreen).

Second Series –The Concept of Worship

Knowledge Series: Emphasizes the spread of knowledge, culture, and know-how through the conveying of thoughts, discussions and research with the aim of realizing an all encompassing Islamic Renaissance

Second Series –The Concept of Worship

The Original Interpretation of the concept of worship is that worship is the following in its all-encompassing forms. Meaning that those who follow Allah’s commands and prohibitions in their entirety, confirming their validity in their own right without other commands or prohibitions from a king, ruler or president, have thereby worshiped Allah. And he who has obeyed a ruler, whether it is a king or a president (such as obeyed any of their economic, social or judicial rulings, that have not come from Allah swt, as is the case now in all of the Muslim countries), or obeyed the rulings of America, Europe or the United Nations and its decisions, such as the acceptance of the nationalities that have been imposed upon Muslims, or accepting the dividing of the Muslim countries, or accepting to enroll in working with the countries they established and imposed upon the Muslims; has therefore (either by doing or confirming verbally or by heart) directed his worship i.e. his following, to other than Allah swt, even if he prayed and fasted.

The Interpretation of the concept of worship in its origin, can absolutely not be taught in schools, even if there are sentences agreeing with the real meaning of worship, these are either taught without meaning, whereby memorized empty of meaning, and if taught in its correct form, looses its importance and value by the student, because it lacks a realistic ground to apply it on in the first place. And if the teacher or someone was to explain the application of worship i.e. the following in real life, he would thereby slander Allah and his Messenger, explaining to the students, that our country is the country that applies Allah’s rules (Sharia), and that the so called ruler is the Guardian as per the Sharia who should be obeyed and followed, even if he ruled as per Kufr, and thereby you would be directing your worship to other than Allah, in this case to the so called ruler.

In the entire Muslim countries, all schools at all levels, whether elementary or advanced, do not teach this origin of origins at all in its correct form, and its an origin of extreme importance in identifying a Muslim’s identity from others. And the reason that it is not taught, is that if worship was taught as per its correct meaning, people would have realized where to direct their worship, i.e. their following, toward, and would therefore have realized that their duty is to disbelief in the current rulers, violate and not follow them, and would therefore have seen it to be their duty to turn against them.

Therefore we find teachers confining the meaning of worship merely towards one thing, which is the prayer, the fasting, the reciting and the good manners, sadaqa (charity) and the refraining from the worshiping of statues, and similar rulings, and this of course contradicts with the meaning or concept of worship in origin and branches. So the Muslim or student is left assuming that he has embraced the characteristics of a true Muslim, and that therefore he is worshiping Allah truly; and the parents are left assuming that they have raised their children well and to the best; and the ignorant teacher is left assuming that he has been teaching his students the method of worshiping at its best, not knowing that he is deceiving them and driving them towards greater deception; so they all end up worshiping other than Allah while assuming they are worshiping him swt, Hasbun Allah wani'am al-wakil "Allah suffices us and He is the best guardian."

Allah swt said in the meaning of surrat Al Baqarah verse 177

It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces towards East or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfill the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the God-fearing

"There is no ilâh but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah"

Is what we were taught in schools and the elm(knowledge) that we received in schools including all the knowledge and ideas that have been passed on to this current generation the real Islam that was descended upon our Messenger Muhammed pbuh?

Many people assume that the subjects we were taught in school and the ideas that are exchanged between Muslims today, and the knowledge that we receive from today’s corrupt Muslim scholars, and the reality we live today; that all of this reflects the Islam that was descended upon our Messenger Muhammed pbuh. Whereas fact of the matter is that reality is very different, and that what we are taught and what our children are being taught in schools and universities and elsewhere including what Muslims are receiving and seeing today reflects something merely similar to Islam, more correctly, something rather contradicting with Islam. What we are seeing today does not relate to Islam neither in origin nor in branches, nor in the reality of its commands or prohibitions or in the method of living by it. So how is this possible and how did that happen?

The Islamic subjects of Fiqh, Hadith, Tawheed, and Quran taught in schools have merely been literature, that any Muslim or even Kafir (disbeliever) can learn or memorize, without impacting or changing anything in them. At the origin of teaching and learning Islam come a number of highly important and critical issues and considerations, and it is those that craft and build the Islamic personality with the real Islam that was descended upon our Messenger Muhammed pbuh.

At the origin and outset of embracing Islam and learning it comes the learning of the two Shahadas, i.e. the Muslim declaration of belief in the Uluhiyyah (Worship & Followership) of Allahuta'âlâ and that of the acceptance of Muhammad as his Messenger; by that we don’t mean reciting or memorizing it per say, but rather learning it, studying it, understanding it, and then embracing it, and finally working towards achieving what they call for in real life. This does not happen unless the person has been convinced in their own mind about the existence of Allah swt, and follows that with the firm belief in what the two Shahadas call for, which is that the worship, i.e. the follower ship and governorship, meaning the commands and prohibitions are taken from Allah swt only, and not from any king, ruler, president or parliament. Naturally such a thought explained and translated in this correct manner does not appeal to any king, ruler or to America or Europe, since it is this thought that reflects the true thought behind the two Shahadas, and therefore it is not being taught in schools, rather preserved abstract and unrelated to any real meaning or understanding. Because if the two Shahadas were to be taught as per the correct method, and with all that what the submission to them calls for from embracing and doing, it would have turned people to disbelief in the ruler and the system he applied on them, and would therefore have called them to go against him for he has violated what the two shahadas call for from commands, responsibilities, orders, prohibitions, rulings and systems.

And it is exactly from here where the distortion in the build up and crafting of the personality starts, so instead of it becoming an Islamic personality, it becomes merely a Muslim personality by identity; leaving people “without even knowing” believing in something different from what they have declared the uluhiyyah of and their belief toward, in this case Allah swt; and believe through their actions in something different from the message that was descended upon our Messenger Muhammed pbuh. For al-ilah, as mentioned previously is the solely worshiped, the obeyed, the followed without including (Shirk) any other ruler with him, and the eman (belief) in the message of our Messenger Muhammed pbuh does not happen unless it is realistically applied, i.e. practiced in real life, and if its not, then people have not declared the uluhiyyah of Allahuta'âlâ and the acceptance of Muhammad as his Messenger.

Allah swt said in the meaning of surrat Al An’am verse 19

Say: "What thing is most weighty in evidence?" Say: "Allah is witness between me and you; This Qur'an hath been revealed to me by inspiration, that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides Allah there is another ilah?" Say: "Nay! I cannot bear witness!" Say: "But in truth He is the one ilah, and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him."
